Colin Williams

Co-Founder, CEO

Colin Williams is the CEO of UV-Clear, where he leads a team of engineers developing advanced air sanitation solutions built on high-output UV-C LED technology.

He brings a technical and leadership background that spans electrical and mechanical engineering, complex problem-solving, and process design. As a Field Engineer at Detekion Security Systems, he managed installation, maintenance, and diagnostics for security systems at federal maximum-security facilities nationwide, including troubleshooting lethal electric fencing. Before that, he worked in engineering and maintenance at Endicott Research Group, and earlier still as a Field Engineer at semiconductor facilities in Malta, where he worked with robotics, PLC systems, and vacuum technology.

From 2014 to 2018, Colin owned and operated Patterson Creek Farm, growing it from 21 purebred Berkshire piglets to over 200 pigs on 20 acres of woodland he cleared himself. That experience gave him firsthand insight into agricultural operations, which informs how he thinks about UV-Clear's applications in food safety and air quality.

Colin's early career was in the United States Navy, where he served as a SONAR technician on an Ohio-class submarine, maintaining analog and digital SONAR systems and handling emergency response protocols.

That combination of military discipline, hands-on engineering, and operational leadership shapes how Colin runs UV-Clear today.
