UV-Clear™ was tested against ASHRAE 185.1/2 standards with no PTFE reflective materials added to the duct and no burn-in where the device is running before measurement begins. To our knowledge, we are the first UV-C device tested in this manner which was designed to simulate real-world installations and field deployments across all moving air environments. UV-Clear™’s prototype device, under 50% power load, was certified by AirMid to provide a 64% first-pass inactivation of MS2 bacteriophage at 2000 CFM. High-power MS2 and H1N1 validation is ongoing.
OUR PATENT
UV-Clear™ also holds an issued U.S. utility patent, US 12,588,134 B2, covering the passive cooling approach that makes dense UV-C LED arrays viable in moving air. Additional testing is underway, including H1N1 on both high and low power settings for ASHRAE 241 Schedule F procurement compliance.
