UV-Clear is proud to join governments, researchers, and organizations worldwide as a signatory of the Global Pledge for Healthy Indoor Air. Launched during the United Nations General Assembly, the Pledge is the first international effort to formally recognize clean indoor air as a basic human right essential to health and well-being.
The Pledge debuted on September 23, 2025 at the UN Headquarters in New York during “Healthy Indoor Air: A Global Call to Action,” a high-level side event co-sponsored by France and Montenegro and convened by global public-health and building-science partners.
Why it matters to us: UV-Clear was founded on the belief that every building should deliver healthy air without trading away energy performance or safety. Our solid-state UV-C approach is mercury-free and designed for retrofit, helping facilities advance indoor-air goals alongside decarbonization priorities.
