Colin Williams – Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors President 

Colin Williams is the innovative force behind UV-Clear, Inc. Known as the “thousand question kid” in his youth, Colin’s insatiable curiosity and problem-solving skills have driven his diverse career. Starting as a sonar technician on a nuclear submarine, he developed a knack for troubleshooting in controlled environments. He then applied his skills to wind farms, semiconductor fabs, and custom LED manufacturing, where his keen insights consistently led to significant improvements.

Balancing these roles with running a Berkshire heritage pork farm, Colin’s varied experiences uniquely positioned him to identify the untapped potential of UV-C technology. His commitment to UV-Clear has led to groundbreaking advancements, making air purification more efficient and effective. Colin’s journey—from submarines and windmills to semiconductors and farming—showcases his ability to innovate and lead across industries.

Daniel J. Coon – Founder, Chief Financial Officer and Board of Directors Treasurer

Daniel J. Coon is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of expertise in consulting, business management, and financial oversight. A devoted father of three, Daniel has a rich background in public policy, business, and journalism from Broome Community College and SUNY Albany. His diverse career spans government, journalism, and corporate leadership.

Daniel’s notable achievements include driving significant cost reductions and revenue growth at Hess Corporation, where he progressed from store clerk to corporate buyer. Now overseeing more than $100 million in P&L responsibility, Daniel’s role at UV-Clear involves strategic financial management, relationship building, and shaping the company’s business strategy. Known for his unwavering work ethic and strategic acumen, Daniel is deeply involved in every aspect of UV-Clear’s operations, leveraging his extensive experience in sales, management, and lobbying to propel the company forward.

Daniel Davenport, MBA – Director of Business Development and Board of Directors Ombudsman

Daniel Davenport brings a wealth of analytical and strategic expertise to UV-Clear, Inc. With degrees from Broome Community College, SUNY Geneseo, and Ithaca College, Daniel’s career has been marked by his ability to navigate complex real estate valuations and develop detailed reports for state and federal reviews.

Daniel’s role at UV-Clear involves drafting strategic documents, managing corporate processes, and supporting the team through challenges. His meticulous approach ensures that UV-Clear’s plans are robust and well-articulated. Daniel’s dedication to creating value and driving progress is evident in every aspect of his work.

Stephen Marcy – Mechanical Design Engineer 

Stephen Marcy’s journey from the largest Pennsylvania bluestone quarry to leading major redesign projects in electro-mechanical manufacturing demonstrates his engineering prowess. With a background in engineering science from Broome Community College and a passion for lean practices, Stephen has consistently driven production efficiency and innovation.

His experience in designing automated refinery lines and managing large engineering projects positions him as a key player in UV-Clear’s mechanical design efforts. Stephen’s commitment to health and safety, combined with his engineering expertise, ensures UV-Clear’s products are both effective and reliable.

Ryan Kennedy – Process Engineer 

Ryan Kennedy, a chemical engineering graduate from the University of Minnesota, brings over a decade of semiconductor industry experience to UV-Clear. His work with atomic layer deposition tools and quality assurance testing has been instrumental in developing and optimizing UV-Clear’s platforms.

Ryan’s dedication to continuous improvement and new product development is crucial as UV-Clear scales its manufacturing processes. His expertise ensures that UV-Clear’s products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

J.P. Paraschos, Esq. - Chief Operating Officer   

JP has more than 25 years' experience in business and financial practice, including a decade at large firms in New York City.  He's worked extensively on mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, regulatory issues and intellectual property development, protection and licensing.

 

JP has practiced in upstate New York for the past 10 years, after having been General Counsel to NBTY, Inc. (the world's largest vitamin and nutritional supplement manufacturer, and an NYSE-traded company).  He's also advised a company during a recall of FDA-registered medical devices, co-ordinating failure analysis, recall logistics, customer and vendor communications and regulatory compliance with FDA and Health Canada.

 

JP is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School ('96) and Le Moyne College in Syracuse ('91, summa cum laude).  He was a Fulbright Scholar in Economics in South Africa and Lesotho.  For several years he was an Adjunct Professor in the MBA program at Le Moyne, teaching Business Law and International Business Law.
